Well hello there! Welcome to my new blog. Any of you who are my friends know that this actually the fourth blog that I’ve started. I rather liked my old blog, but I was away from it for two years, and when I came back to it I didn’t really have much desire to continue with it. Mostly because it was hard to read. Reading white text on a black background is sometimes difficult. Hopefully this one will be a little easier on the eyes.
Basically this is just the same idea as the last one. I have a lot of things floating around in my head and I would like some sort of repository to dump them in. Plus, I want to get a little bit more serious about writing, so this will give me some more practice.
A little bit about me: I’m a mechanical engineering student at Brigham Young University- Idaho. Fortunately, I have a lot of diverse interests, so this blog won’t be about the latest in screw design. But it probably will have a lot about science. I am a practicing member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and I love looking at our doctrine and teachings from an academic viewpoint. One of my favorite things to do is to find the middle ground between theology and science. Politics interest me, but I’ll let you figure out where I stand.
Well hopefully you’ll stick around. As always, I’m not really sure if this is going to last forever, or if I’m just going to post a few things and discard it. Until I’m certain that this will be a continuous blog, I’m not going to link it to Facebook. But eventually I will.
