Classical Music Sundays: The Metamorphosis- Philip Glass

Philip Glass is one of my favorite pianists. His music is rather minimalist, but he really shows you how much he can do with only a few motifs and chords. His music has a certain meditative feel to it. It doesn’t seem to really move forward, but rather just fills up space. This is one of my favorite pieces by him. Ostensibly it is based on the story The Metamorphosis by Franz Kafka and is perfect for lazy days or study sessions. I’ve posted the whole album entitled “The Metamorphosis”, but the first four pieces are my favorite.
